We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in our Real Estate Department.
Responsibilities – Supporting the Real Estate Department and their clients in all aspects of their matters including: drafting/editing documents and correspondence; organizing and maintaining documents in paper and electronic formats; scheduling appointments; drafting Landlord/Tenant Complaints and; maintaining attorneys’ calendar.
Two years of experience as legal assistant/paralegal preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Experience using Landex, Title Express and Simplifile preferred
Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Prior experience with electronic filing
Strong organizational skills
Superior client service
Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Personable, proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
