The Salute to Women Who Make a Difference honors female leaders who live and/or work in Bucks County. Each year, the YWCA Salute to Women recognizes women in Bucks County making exceptional contributions to their businesses, organizations, and their communities. Over the last 27 years, the YWCA has honored hundreds of women while raising much-needed funds to support their mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Magee is the immediate past president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County, where she has served on the board of directors for the last 10 years, and she currently serves on the Bucks County SPCA board of directors. Magee also served for many years on the board of the Bucks County Women’s Fund, was president of the Bucks County Estate Planning Council, and has been a member of the board of directors of the Bucks County Bar Association, where she has chaired committees and a section and was a trustee of its foundation. “We take great pride in seeing members of our firm receive honors for their outstanding professional achievements and for making significant contributions to organizations in the communities we serve,” said Gregory E. Grim, CEO, Grim, Biehn & Thatcher. “We applaud Dianne’s dedication not only to her clients, but to the many organizations and boards for which she volunteers.”
Magee was nominated by her colleague Kristin Vogel, Vice President of Sales & Business Development, Trident Plastics, Inc. for her contributions as an industry leader, mentor and volunteer for professional and charitable organizations throughout Bucks county. Vogel remarked, “I nominated Dianne because she inspires me to be a better person. Every day, she makes a difference in our community. Whether she is standing up to help our seniors through the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, helping clients navigate complicated family and estate matters, or working to improve the lives of families, children and pets through her work with the Penn Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Bucks County SPCA, Dianne Magee is a Woman Who Makes a Difference.”
