Matt is a shareholder in our litigation department where he focuses primarily on personal injury claims including but not limited to car accidents, wrongful death/survival actions, premises liability, products liability, slip/trip and fall, dog bites, commercial vehicle / tractor trailer accidents, and dram shop actions.
Matt’s legal background includes extensive experience in vehicular related accident and driving under the influence investigations and prosecutions. Matt’s prior employment was with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office where Matt was Chief of the Homicide by Vehicle Division as well as Chief of Driving Under the Influence Prosecutions. In that capacity, Matt was the head of the Bucks County Homicide by Vehicle Task Force, which is responsible for fatal and other serious crash investigations and prosecutions throughout Bucks County. Matt was involved in hundreds of crash and DUI investigations and prosecutions. Matt conducted numerous jury and non-jury trials during his tenure as a Deputy District Attorney. Matt also has been an instructor for law enforcement and attorneys in these fields, including presentations on distracted driving and drug related driving under the influence prosecutions.
Matt’s background in vehicular related prosecutions and trial experience have helped him obtain numerous settlements, awards, and verdicts for his clients. Matt has been able to successfully recover damages for pain and suffering, insurance benefits, lost income, medical expenses, and other related damage for clients. Matt also represents clients for their other civil and commercial litigation needs and also practices in the area of criminal defense.
Matt is a 2008 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University , Dickinson School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude. While there, Matt was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society as well as captain of the National Trial Team moot court competition.
